Pure inositol powder, CAS 87-89-8, Molecular formula C6H12O6. Also known as cyclohexanol. White powder. Those without crystalline water are non hygroscopic white crystalline powders. Crystals containing bimolecular crystalline water are weathered crystals with a dehydration temperature of 100 ℃. Odorless and sweet in taste. Stable in the air. Soluble in water, insoluble in anhydrous ethanol, ether, chloroform, and neutral in aqueous solution. Widely distributed in animals and plants, it is a growth factor for animals and microorganisms. It is first isolated from the myocardium and liver. There are various cis and trans isomers of inositol in nature, and the naturally occurring isomers are cis 1,2,3,5-trans 4,6-cyclohexanol. Its main function is to participate in processes such as cell signaling, lipid synthesis, and insulin action, which are crucial for human health. For example, inositol is particularly important for maintaining normal insulin function and can help regulate blood sugar levels. For patients with diabetes, inositol supplementation may be beneficial. best inositol powde is a natural compound that exists in human cells and belongs to the vitamin B group, also known as vitamin B8. It plays an important role in many physiological processes of the human body.

Synthesis Methods
Atmospheric catalytic method
Atmospheric catalytic method is a new method for producing Pure inositol powder, which is newly developed and put into industrial production in China in recent years. Remarkable features:
(1) The one-time investment in equipment is greatly reduced, and more than 50% of the equipment investment can be saved when the scale is the same;
(2) The use of phytin hydrolysis catalyst shortens the production cycle and improves the utilization rate of raw materials;
(3) The refining process was improved, and the product quality and yield were improved.
Atmospheric catalytic process: add a certain proportion of catalyst (compounded by glycerin, urea and calcium carbonate) in a certain concentration of phytin solution under normal pressure, heat hydrolysis, hydrolysis, filtration, crystallization, drying and other processes to obtain inositol. Due to the characteristics of the catalyst, inositol can be crystallized at one time to obtain high-quality finished products, thus simplifying the process. The catalyst can be recycled.

Traditional Pure inositol powder method
The traditional production method of inositol is pressure hydrolysis. As the pressurized hydrolysis method has many years of industrial production practice experience, it is the main process technology adopted by domestic manufacturers, and this process has been continuously improved in production. General process of pressure hydrolysis method: phytin (hydrolysis) → hydrolysate (neutralization and filtration) → inositol solution (impurity removal and concentration, crystallization centrifugation) → crude inositol (impurity removal and crystallization centrifugation) → fine products. Among them, hydrolysis and refining are two key steps.
(1) Hydrolysis of sodium phytate:
Sodium phytate was produced by ion exchange resin adsorption method with corn soaking water as raw material, and inositol was produced by pressure hydrolysis reaction. At the same time of inositol production, disodium hydrogen phosphate is co produced (the output of disodium hydrogen phosphate is about 12 times that of inositol), which effectively recovers organic phosphorus in grains, opening up a new way for the recovery of organic phosphorus in agricultural and sideline products.
Brief description of production process: sodium phytate solution of certain concentration is obtained from corn impregnated water by ion exchange resin adsorption, which is hydrolyzed under pressure to produce inositol and disodium hydrogen phosphate. After reaction for a certain time, discharge, filtration, cooling, crystallization, and precipitation of hydrogen phosphate nanocrystals.
(2) The hydrolysis reaction solution from which disodium hydrogen phosphate crystals are precipitated shall be successively passed through anion and cation exchange resins and repeatedly refined until the concentration of anion and cation in the hydrolysis reaction solution reaches the specified standard. The refined hydrolysis reaction solution is concentrated and crystallized to obtain the finished inositol. The yield of inositol is mainly affected by three factors: hydrolysis time, hydrolysis pressure and concentration of sodium phytate solution.
Through orthogonal test, the optimum reaction conditions of hydrolysis reaction were obtained as follows: hydrolysis time 7-8h, phytate concentration 20%, hydrolysis pressure 1.5MPa, and the average yield of inositol 0.1544% - 0.1722%. In order to observe the amplification effect of the hydrolysis reactor, the blockage of the bed in the industrial ion exchange tower, the change of the exchange capacity, and to simulate the large circulation operation conditions used in the regeneration stage of the industrial plant, a pilot test was conducted on a plant with a treatment capacity of 600m/a according to the above reaction conditions. The average yield of inositol was 0.1601% (more than 2.5 times higher than that of calcium phytate method, and the product quality reached the various indicators specified in the national pharmacopoeia), which was in good agreement with the data of the pilot test.
