Preparation
Raw material dehydration: put sorbitol (88kg) into the reaction kettle for decompression dehydration.
Add catalyst: after dehydration, press in refined oleic acid (130kg) and appropriate amount of sodium hydroxide (used as catalyst).
Reaction: start stirring, vacuumize, slowly raise the temperature, keep the reaction at 200~210 ℃, and the reaction time is about 6 hours.
Acid value measurement: take out the sample and measure the acid value. When the acid value is 6-7mgKOH/g, the esterification reaction is completed.
Cooling: cool down and place for 24 hours. After finishing, it is divided into upper and lower layers. The lower layer is black colloidal substance, which is separated and discarded. Put the upper clarification hydraulic pressure into the decolorizing kettle, heat it to about 65 ℃, decolorize it with activated carbon, and decolorize it at 80~85 ℃ for 1 hour.
